The Terminator

In "The Terminator," a cyborg assassin is sent back in time to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, whose future son will lead a resistance against machines. Human soldier Kyle Reese is also sent back to protect her, leading to a relentless chase and ultimate destruction of the Terminator.
